General Information : The Master Programme of Business Administration program of the Institute of Social Sciences aims to provide the necessary education to the student to gain abilities to fulfil the executive, expert and researcher needs of private and public sectors in changing national and international competitive environment. The MBA program provide graduate education opportunity to both business administration undergraduate diploma holders, and other undergraduate degree holders.  
Qualification Awarded : Students will be awarded a Master of Business Administration Degree upon successfully completing the program and achieving core competencies  
Level of Qualification : Second Cycle (Master?s Degree)/ Third Cycle (Doctorate Degree).This program is second cycle degree program in the science of Business (120 ECTS). ?Master of Science? title would be taken when the program completed succesfully meanwhile maintaned programme proficiency.  
Specific Admission Requirements : Students, willing to enrol in this graduate programme, must comply with the legal and academic requirements to access the studies in The Suleyman Demirel University according to the process established by the YÖK (Higher Education Council) regulations. The detail information about the application (once or sometimes twice a year) and access requirements are released before academic year starts on its web site (http://sosyalbilimler.sdu.edu.tr/ENGLISH/).
Students who have started studies in other universities within or outside of the country may apply for their recognition. The recognition record is unique for each student and therefore the procedure is carried out accordingly before the start of each academic year.

Under an established exchanges program or one approved by the University, exchange students from abroad may be accepted for studies on the courses taught in English. Or, if they are confident in Turkish, they may then enrol in any courses, running in Turkish, shown on the ?Course Structure? diagram. For example, Erasmus students from abroad want to spend one term or two terms in a graduate programme at Süleyman Demirel University should apply to International Relation Office. The detail information on the application procedure is given in their web site (http://ects.sdu.edu.tr/).
 
Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning (formal, non-formal and informal) : Transfer of a student, who is registered and successfully completed at least one semester as a graduate student in different programs of the graduate school or in graduate schools of other higher education institutions, will be accepted to the graduate programs based on the announced transfer students quota. In order to transfer, students are subject to fulfil acceptance criteria for the program, to pass the courses that s/he takes in her/his previous graduate program with minimum marks of 70 for M.B.A. and 75 for Ph.D. degrees out of 100. Transfer can be only made at the beginning of the term during the course selection period. The prerequisite courses will be determined by the IBA by consulting the HOD. Transfers to the Graduate School of Fine Arts will be accepted by the Senate.  
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : National qualifications frameworks may contain levels (or intermediate qualifications) within the three Bologna cycles (e.g. a short cycle within the first cycle). These levels allow institutions to structure a particular qualification and regulate progression through the qualification. Qualification Requirements and Regulations are enacted by YÖK (The Council Of Higher Education) in Turkey.  
Profile of The Programme : Targets; graduating individuals, good at basic management knowledge, capable of forming, managing and growing a new business, capable of necessary skills to plan, implement and evaluate business-related decisions, policies and strategies, having professional attitudes and abilities, innovative, entrepreneurial, capable of using new technologies about his/her business, good at teamwork, following economical and social changes, quickly adapting fast changes, capable of analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.  
Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples : Take office in various levels in all businesses especially the financial, banking, auditing firms and some of public office.  
Access to Further Studies : Upon a successful completion of the programme, student may continue with doctoral study in the same or similar scientific areas, which may accept students from the science of Busıness Admınıstratıon.  
Aims Of Programme : The objective of the MBA Program is to provide human resources for expert researcher and executive positions in both private and public sectors, to make them possible to have a career as inspectors in financial institutions and banks in finance and accounting fields that is fully equipped with contemporary managerial, entrepreneurial and administrative knowledge and skills.  
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : They are specified in each course. Please see the Course Structure for details.  
Graduation Requirements : In order to gain the degree, the student is required to have minimum 48 ECTS credits lectures (from the graduate course programme) and successfully completed them. Besides student must perapare at least one seminar work in specific topic which will his/her on a topic supervised by a senior lecturer. Then, the student should prepare a thesis after caring out a research on a topic supervised by a senior lecturer. On a successful submission of thesis, student is required to give a successful oral examination on his/her work.

Program Learning Outcomes
1 Understanding principles of business administration and its functions at advanced level, being capable of applying those functions in marketing, production, accounting, finance, or management fields.
2 Understanding the planning, organizing, leading, coordinating and control functions of management, understanding strategic, tactical and operational dimensions of business administration and analyzing business at organizational level.
3 Improving business managers? abilities of analyzing changes and developments at national and international levels.
4 Being capable of using different kinds of management information systems and IT applications in business.
5 Improving entrepreneurial, innovative and lifetime learning attitudes.
6 Improving analytical thinking, understanding contemporary approaches and new technologies, including IT.
7 Internal and interdisciplinary teamwork and if necessary, team creation and management, gaining leadership attributes and communication skills to contact with executives and experts in other fields.
8 Understanding legal, social and ethical responsibilities and social transformation.
9 Having sufficient level of economics, business, public finance, law and accounting knowledge that a highly skilled employees need to have to work for public and private sectors.
10 Being capable of using Turkish and, if necessary foreign languages properly to in oral and written communications.
11 Gaining quality vision, doing and finalizing things at higher quality.
12 Gaining analytical and statistical research and thinking skills.
13 Learning a foreign language to use in oral and written communications.
