General Information : This department provides training in the field of mechanical installation, energy, mechanical design and automotive science. Currently, the Department of Mechanical Education has 2 professors, 1 associate professor, 5 assistant professors. There is only a graduate program (MSc) for master thesis studies in the department.  
Qualification Awarded : You will be awarded, on successful completion of the program and gain competencies, a degree of Master in Mechanical Education department. Science Specialist is the title.  
Level of Qualification : Second Cycle (Master?s Degree).You will be awarded, on successful completion of the programme and gain competencies, a degree of Masters in Mechanical Education.
 
Specific Admission Requirements : Students who want to enroll in graduate programs, the university's academic and legal framework and regulations set by the CoHE to complete the process / exams are required to have succeeded. Student admission to the program and application requirements before starting the academic year the Institute of Science is published at the internet address. Education started in the program within the country equivalent to a student may apply for transfer. Of the students before the beginning of the semester each student admission requirements are reviewed and evaluated. Candidates who qualify to enroll graduate students benefit from the right. With an agreement approved by the University and the limits specified student exchange programs, students from abroad can receive the courses given in the institute department. In this context, our university students who want to come to the program application and registration processes are required to make the External Relations Office. Application process and procedures related to information the university's website can be accessed from the External Relations Office.  
Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning (formal, non-formal and informal) : Under an established exchanges program or one approved by the University, exchange students from abroad may be accepted for studies on the courses taught in English. Or, if they are confident in Turkish, they may then enroll in any courses, running in Turkish, shown on the ?Course Structure? diagram. For example, Erasmus students from abroad want to spend one term or two terms in a graduate programme at Süleyman Demirel University should apply to International Relation Office. The detailed information on the application procedure is given in their web site.  
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : National qualifications frameworks may contain levels (or intermediate qualifications) within the three Bologna cycles (e.g. a short cycle within the first cycle). These levels allow institutions to structure a particular qualification and regulate progression through the qualification. Qualification Requirements and Regulations are enacted by YÖK (The Council Of Higher Education) in Turkey.  
Profile of The Programme : The programme aims to gain skills to students for accessing information with doing scientific research, evaluating and interpreting knowledge, developing new ideas and methods and to prepare students who tends to academic study for doctorate.  
Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples : The graduates of the Bachelor's programme in technical education Department have opportunities of employment in a variety of state and private funded companies. These are; Technical teacher, Educational specialist, Technical training specialist, Plumbing Installation Technical staff, etc..  
Access to Further Studies : To provide adequate conditions for different disciplines graduate educational opportunities (doctorate) are available.  
Aims Of Programme : 1. To have advance skills in one the mechanical education department.
2. To be able to solve a specific engineering problem related with the special research area.
3. To have sufficient literature knowledge related with the special research area.
4. To be able to follow actual scientific research and innovations related with the special area.

Graduation Requirements : In order to gain the degree, the student is required to have minimum 120 ECTS credits lectures (from the graduate course program) and successfully completed them. Then, the student should prepare a thesis after caring out a research on a topic supervised by a senior lecturer. On a successful submission of thesis, student is required to give a successful oral presentation on his/her work.  
Mode of Study (full-time, part-time, e-learning etc.) : Full-time.
