General Information : Construction Education Department within SDU Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences within from the academic year 1996-1997 at program "Department of Construction Education" began to offer undergraduate degrees in the thesis to train graduates at the graduate level.  
Qualification Awarded : Successfully completed the program whether the program sufficiency is the right qualifications in the field of Construction Education will have a Master's degree.  
Level of Qualification : Second Cycle (Master?s Degree)/ Third Cycle (Doctorate Degree).This section in higher education in the science of Construction Education is applied to second cycle degree program of 120 ECTS.  
Specific Admission Requirements : Students who want to enroll in graduate programs, the university's academic and legal framework and regulations set by the CoHE to complete the process / exams are required to have succeeded. Student admission to the program and application requirements before starting the academic year the Institute of Science is published at the internet address. Education started in the program within the country equivalent to a student may apply for transfer. Of the students before the beginning of the semester each student admission requirements are reviewed and evaluated. Candidates who qualify to enroll graduate students benefit from the right. With an agreement approved by the University and the limits specified student exchange programs, students from abroad can receive the courses given in the institute department. In this context, our university students who want to come to the program application and registration processes are required to make the External Relations Office. Application process and procedures related to information the university's website can be accessed from the External Relations Office.  
Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning (formal, non-formal and informal) : The rules and regulations for recognition of formal prior learning are well defined. Transfer can be made among the institutions of which equivalency is recognized by Higher Education Council. Also successful vocational school graduates to continue their educaiton to obtain Bachelor?s degrees if they are successful in the selection and the placement examination (DGS, i.e. vertical transfer examination) are admitted. The courses to be taken by these students are determined by the relevant department, on the basis of courses they have completed in the programs from which they have graduated.  
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : National qualifications frameworks may contain levels (or intermediate qualifications) within the three Bologna cycles (e.g. a short cycle within the first cycle). These levels allow institutions to structure a particular qualification and regulate progression through the qualification. Qualification Requirements and Regulations are enacted by YÖK (The Council Of Higher Education) in Turkey.  
Profile of The Programme : 1. To have skill information about calculation on studies of structure, geotechnical, construction materials, water resources and transportation, project preparation and practices 2. To have skill in the structure area encountered several problems because of their interrogation, the problems of modeling and analysis 3. To have improve the structure in the field of art monitoring and following developments to them, to contribute to, creative, analytical thinking with problem-solving skills 4. To train graduate students and aims to gain a qualified workforce.  
Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples : sThe graduates of the Bachelor's programme in Construction Educatiom Department have opportunities of employment work as teachers in vocational high school and variety of state and private funded companies. The main state graduates who they can work are vocational high school and Technical vocational high school as Tecnical Teacher and working as cheff in building site. graduates play a key role in work area such as production, control, Project drawing etc. Technical education graduates can work in quality and process control, manufacturing, safety, research, product design and development, technical assistance, and marketing and sales, as technical or managerial personel.  
Access to Further Studies : Students who successfully complete the program, a PhD degree in related field could apply.  
Aims Of Programme : It is be aimed at this brunch, construction education program graduates during undergraduate education on the their basic training calculation on studies of structure, geotechnical, construction materials, water resources and transportation, information about project preparation and practices, in the structure area encountered several problems because of their interrogation, the problems of modeling and analysis capabilities improve the structure in the field of art monitoring and following developments to them, to contribute to, creative, analytical thinking with problem-solving skills to train graduate students and aims to gain a qualified workforce.  
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : Information interested in assessment and scoring system of courses is provided in the ECTS course information form. Students are subject to graduate education-training regulations of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences. This regulation is located at the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences? web page.  
Graduation Requirements : To complete the master's program graduate first 60 ECTS credits for courses in the curriculum and the success of these courses must be completed. After the completion of courses with faculty advisor thesis on a topic to be determined should be delivered. Student must succesfully presented thesis in front of thesis jury.  
Mode of Study (full-time, part-time, e-learning etc.) : Full time  

Program Learning Outcomes
1 To gain further knowledge, to be able to use acquired information between same or different disciplines for do research-development, discussion, evaluation and practical applications,
2 To have to skills look from a wider perspective in development and opportunities in the building field, to create a consistent approach from analytical ways and to be open to ideas on this subject,
3 To open for interdisciplinary cooperation structure to be able to do academic work in the building areas
4 To use technology devoted to development of reinforced concrete structure systems and to transfer them to the application area,
5 To have knowledge and skills in preparation, control and application of reinforced concrete project,
6 To have knowledge and skills in preparation, control and application of repair and strengthening project of damaged structures
7 To have knowledge and skills in making concrete and building laboratory experiments,
8 To have knowledge and skills in applying advanced technologies on soil problems (sitting, slope stability, retaining structures, road and dam construction),
9 To have knowledge and skills in modeling on water resources,
10 To have knowledge and skills in solving present and arising problems in dam construction,
11 To have knowledge and skills in building design and evaluation of transport constructions,
12 To have knowledge and skills in using artificial intelligence techniques in construction education.
